A unique folding sliding door that effortlessly meets the requirements of EnEV 2009 and also impresses with its narrow face widths and wide choice of options. The highly thermally insulated Schüco ASS 80 FD.HI folding sliding system is a folding sliding door which achieves a Uf value of up to 1.7 W/(m²K) and a Uw value of < 1.3 W/(m²K) in addition to a wide range of designs.
Narrow face widths from 112 mm (standard fold), basic depth of 80 mm and glass thicknesses of up to 57 mm
Flat, thermally insulated threshold allows easy access
Centre gasket integrated in the outer frame, three drainage levels in the vent as well as glazing rebate insulation
Units can be folded to the right, left, inwards or outwards as required
Burglar resistance up to class RC 2 (WK2)

The thermal insulation properties are achieved by using additional insulating materials and centre gaskets in the outer and vent frames
The vent loads are transferred by roller carriers to the sill.
The vent units must be sealed with large-volume hollow gaskets to leave a 12 mm zone unclamped.
An adjustable frame design must allow tolerances of up to 8 mm to be taken up.
The outer frame extensions and the inner glazing beads must be rounded ("softline")
The opening vents must be operated with folding handles.
The outer frames are mitred, the frame connections for the outer frames and vent profiles are made with precision corner cleats.
The outside face width for a standard fold is 112 mm
Sill with outer frame profile or with flush, thermally insulated threshold profile (only for covered installations). Option of ventilation with integrated turn-tilt vent.
